The Team
Nicole founded Redsand in 2013 with a vision and a passion for innovation in financial and social inclusion. She spearheads innovation at the nexus of data infrastructure, energy, and digital inclusion.
She has held executive roles at SAP, HP, Cisco, and Sage Software and dedicated her entrepreneurial journey to designing and investing in FinTech and CleanTech. Over the past nine years, she has contributed to over 20 leading market projects in building, scaling, and supporting fundraising in areas such as wealth management, pensions and savings, mobile payments, sustainable investments, and digital assets. Nicole is an active investor with deep expertise in equity and debt capital allocation across private and public markets.
Sandeep leads finance, operations, strategy, and technology at Redsand, with a focus on building sustainable and scalable AI infrastructure.
With over 18 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and technology-focused ventures, he brings a unique blend of expertise to reshaping data infrastructure. He started his career in M&A at Rothschild before founding companies across energy, mobility, blockchain, and industrial tech. He also serves on the boards of various technology and manufacturing companies and a non-profit university. Sandeep is a Sloan Fellow from London Business School, holds an MSc in Finance from Bayes (Cass) Business School and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from PES University. He is also a certified ESG Professional from the CFA Institute.
Brian Mort is a seasoned SaaS executive and strategic advisor with over 25 years of experience in technology leadership, specializing in AI, automation, and enterprise software.
He has held senior roles at companies like Oracle, SAP, Deloitte and BluePrism, where he led global operations across sales and delivery. He is an experienced operating partner and advisor. At Redsand, Brian will direct strategy on global partnerships, market expansion, and aligning AI infrastructure solutions with enterprise needs.
Martin is Head of Commercial for the UK and Europe at Redsand, with over 35 years of experience in enterprise software, go-to-market leadership, and tech entrepreneurship.
He graduated from Imperial College, London University, with a degree in Computing Science, and has studied at MIT, IESE, and the University of Michigan. From university, he built a successful career in sales, consulting, and general management in B2B enterprise technology, working with Fujitsu, SAP, and latterly, Oracle. Martin has co-founded two successful tech businesses and has enjoyed trade exits from both. He is also the former West Midlands Tech Commissioner, a unique honorary role in which he reported directly to the Mayor of West Midlands with the brief to grow the region’s tech economy. Martin is also an active angel investor and non-executive Board member across a diverse portfolio of tech ventures.
Svein is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in leadership, sales, management, and technology, having contributed to the success of prominent organizations such as Cinet, Telenor, Priority Telecom, Sting Networks, and Kongsberg
He brings deep expertise in data center operations, with a focus on sustainable practices aligned with ESG principles, reflecting his commitment to driving forward-looking and impactful solutions. Svein’s operational insights and strategic acumen have positioned him as a trusted leader capable of navigating the complexities of the ever-evolving technology landscape. Holding a Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian Business School, Svein combines academic rigor with practical experience to deliver measurable results. Svein supports Redsand in overseeing Field Operations.
